With the inspiration of Wilson Chandler, Mache is back with another great custom sneaker. He has taken the Jordan Retro 5 and given it a new look with a familiar color scheme. He's taken ideas from the Jordan "Bordeaux" 7 and collaborated them with the retro 5.

Nike Air Yeezy 2 (Official Release Info.)

The Air Yeezy 2, since the Concord 11's release, has been the highest anticipated shoe of 2012. The successful drop for the Air Yeezy 1 some time ago has given a much deserved hype to the Air Yeezy 2. Two of the biggest questions revolving around the release are WHEN will they drop and WHO will be getting them. It has been CONFIRMED that the Air Yeezy 2 will be GLOBALLY RELEASED on JUNE 9TH, 2012 in both the Solar Red & Zen Grey colorways. A RUMOR regarding retail is that in Australia, they will cost around 350 (in Australian currency) and cost 245 here in the United States.

Nike Zoom Kobe 7 "USA"

The Olympics are soon approaching and for the NB, we all know that Kobe Bryant will be one of the main leaders on the team. Nike has created a red, white, and blue colorway for him to play in during the Olympics. With the USA, these 7's will be in a red, white, and blue colorway respectively but it will also feature a very eccentric flywire pattern.

Air Jordan 6 "Olympic"

We have finally arrived at the return of one of the best retro Jordan 6's ever. The "Olympic" 6's are finally on the rise & will return to us very soon. The most recent "Olympic" 6 release was the "Beijing" version of the Olympic Flag, but now the original versions are coming back. These are set to release on July 7th, 2012 & will retail for $160.

Air Jordan 7 "Raptors"

One of my personal favorite color schemes of the Jordan 7 are the "Raptors". The scheme is a predominantly black upper with red and purple accents on the midsole. They first released in 2002, then they were retroed in a DMP Pack with a little different color scheme, and now Jordan Brand is set to release them again this year in 2012. The first sample was released months ago and they depicted the same look as the DMP pack, a mix of black and grey in the upper. This upset a lot of consumers so I believe that's what lead JB to change it to the look of the '02 release. These are set to drop on September 1st, 2012

Ronnie Fieg x New Balance 999 "Steel Blue" (Release Info.)

This is a RELEASE REMINDER for Ronnie Fieg's next upcoming collaboration with New Balance. New Balance and Ronnie Fieg have combined and used their 999 model for his newest release. They are set to drop on June 15th, 2012, which just so happens to be Ronnie's birthday. They will be very limited so if you plan on copping, I suggest you do your research and get ready EARLY.

Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan 11, over the years, has become one of the most sought after Jordan Retros of all time. Before the final mid-top design was confirmed, the photo you see above was the first idea of their look.

Air Jordan 3 "Pigeons" (Custom)

A new custom has risen with a very familiar colorway. Mache is back with a custom using the Air Jordan retro 3. He uses the "Cool Grey" 3 as a base and customizes it with the "pigeon" color scheme that's was also used on the original Nike SB "Pigeon" dunk. The sneakers also have a graphic of the #38 on the side since these were made for Marcus Gilchrist.

Lil Wayne x Goulish

A day or so ago, an old beef better Pusha T and Lil' Wayne was resurrected. It's not really known how the beef was started but a track by Pusha called "Exodus 23:1" (posted earlier on this blog) was released taking shots at Wayne, Drake, and the whole Young Money camp. Lil Wayne then dropped a tweet saying "Fuk Pusha T and everyone that love em." Hence the beginning bar of this song. Wayne has now put out a verse/song returning fire to Pusha. Enjoy ... or at least try to.

ASICS x Afew x KoiKlub x Gel Lyte 3 "Reworked"

Afew is a well known store based in Germany and June 2nd they will be celebrating "Japanese Day". As a start to the events, artist Yoske Nishiumi will be showcasing parts of his KoiKlub Exhibition. For the event, Afew and Asics are working together to creating a sneaker to dedicate for the event. It has been dubbed the "reworked". A possible release is being discussed but has not been determined yet.

Nike Lebron 9 Low "Summit Lake Hornets"

Nike is bringing back a recent release in the Lebron 9 series, sort of. One of the recent releases of the Nike Lebron 9 was the "Summit Lake Hornets" that featured a turquoise and purple color scheme. They are now planning to release them again but, instead of in the normal high top form, in the form a low top shoe. These are set to hit Foot Action this Memorial Day Weekend and will retail for $150.

New Balance 574 "Backpack" Collection

New Balance is soon to release a new series/collection of their 574 line. New Balance has been making a lot of noise with their new releases and recent design ideas. This series features the 574 NB with very different materials. The materials used for these kicks are solid canvas to give them that "backpack" feel, hence the name of the collection. They are planning to come out with 5 different color schemes that will be hitting the airways pretty soon.

Hip Hop has been around for decades now and has changed the world on numerous levels. A museum to recognize the past artists who have helped change the world and make an impact using their music is set to be made & built. As of right now, the museum is confirmed to be built in Midtown, Manhattan; Since New York City was the birthplace and "Mecca" of Hip Hop. A date of construction and exact address of location is not yet to be released to the public. This will truly be a brilliant step forward for the beautiful, immaculate genre of music called Hip Hop.

The Nike Lebron 9 Low has been the subject of another custom. C2 is here with a new custom of his own using the Nike Lebron 9 "Easters" as his base foundation. He took them and gave them a new "Elite-South Beach" touch. Very good luck, one of the best Lebron 9 customs I've seen in a little while.

Nike Lebron 9 "Flamingo" low (Custom)

Mache is back with another custom but on a different base than he usually uses. Usually, Mache has been using Foamposite and retro Jordan bases for his customs but this time, he used a Nike Lebron low top. He's taken the Nike Lebron Low and given it the same color scheme as the Nike Lebron 8 V2 "Miami Nights". These have been dubbed the "Flamingos". Very sleek and creative look, well done.

BAIT x ASICS "Ring" Pack

The Asics team has joined forces with Bait for a new sneaker design idea for the summer. The collaboration has decided to create a package of ASICS most successful model designs over the last year with different color schemes. The pack has been dubbed the "Ring" Pack and will release some time this July. Stay tuned for release info.

Nike Lebron 9 "MVP"

If you have been living under a rock or not watching Sportscenter or the NBA Playoffs lately, Lebron James has won the Most Valuable Player award .... again; This is his 3rd time in a row winning MVP, which puts him in the same category as Magic Johnson and others for most times in a row winning the MVP award. In honor of his earning, Nike decided to make a new Lebron 9 in commemoration of his 3rd MVP trophy. Releasing and pricing information has yet to be debated but we shall see in the near future.

If you're a fan of Nike and Nike Skateboarding, then you know that the Nike SB "What The Dunks" were one of the most unique pairs of sneakers ever made; taking the meaning of "collaboration" to a new level. Now Nike has taken that idea and infused it with the Kobe 7. This Kobe 7 has eccentric colors and designs, came out pretty fantastic in my opinion.

Swizz Beats announces May 25th release of the Reebok Question

Some recent sneaker news is that Reebok will be releasing The Question, that was retroed back in 2009, on the 25th of May this year. While Swizz Beatz was on 106 & Park the other day with A$AP Rocky, he announced the release of them later on in May. Should be an exciting release, especially for all the OG sneaker heads and Allen Iverson fans.

Air Jordan 16 "Metallic Royal" (Sample)

The retro numbers after the 14's, have rarely seen retail stores. The last time we've seen Jordan retro numbers above the 14, was during the Countdown Package year where Jordan released all their retros in double sneaker packs. JB is thinking about releasing the Jordan Retro 16 soon so they'll developing sample colorway ideas. This one, is one of the first samples; Consists of an all metallic royal blue upper and blue upper sleeve, white midsole, and an icy sole. This is a good look but I doubt they'll keep this colorway idea.

Nike Zoom Rookie LWP "Memphis Blues" PE

After the debut of the Zoom Rookie LWP's, the Nike Air Penny legacy has taken off to a new feat. In 2012, they plan to continue it with the release of the Air Flight 1 re-release and the Air Penny 5, which is Penny Hardaway's 5th shoe. They have came up with a PE for this LWP and it consists of a predominantly blue upper with blue suede and blue-coated foamposite material. Beautiful sneaker, a release date has not been confirmed yet but we'll be on the look out.
