Lil B vs. Joey Bada$$ (Hip Hop's Newest Beef)

Being a fan of both Pro Era and the Based God, this breaks my heart. I first discovered the beef over twitter last night and there were a lot of mixed feelings over it. All the based fans, like myself, were defending Lil B; saying that Joey Bad was overrated etc. and all the hip hop truest fans, like myself, were saying Lil B is way out of his league and that Joey Bada$$ will rap circles around him. The reason why the beef has started is unknown. All we know for now is that Lil B took the first shot via. a diss track ......

Timbaland signs with Roc Nation.

Timbaland is now a member of Roc Nation. Expect to see him a lot now on J. Cole tracks and even possibly working with G.O.O.D. Music's artists soon. This is a VERY good look; congratulations Timbaland. You're a legend.

Solebox x Reebok Pump Omni Lite

Solebox has been very favored as a top option when it comes to making collaborations with different brands. A new pair of Ewings are on the rise. Ever since the Ewing's came back into the game this past summer, they've been making waves. This upcoming pair is what we've been waiting for; a pair that actually play true to Patrick Ewing's New York Knick roots. This Ewing is made of an all suede upper with royal blue accents. Pusha T x Wrath Of Caine (Download & Review)

The highly anticipated mixtape from G.O.O.D. Music's own, Pusha T, Wrath Of Caine, has finally released. It was about 2 hours late but that makes no-nevermind. The tape is only 11 tracks long (which was made like that for a reason) but in these 11 tracks, you get the same classic Pusha T. His tape, Fear Of God, was a fan favorite but Wrath Of Caine is more consistent with its beats syncing with the lyrics over them unlike in F.O.G. With production from up-and-commers like Young Chop, B!nk, and OG's like The Neptunes, you guy Pusha T's well-spoken flow over some very nice sounds. Overall, we'd give this tape a 9/10. If you liked Fear Of God, then you'll love Wrath Of Caine. Download link below.

ASICS Gel Lyte 5

A new generation of the ASICS Gel Lyte series is slowly approaching. In retrospect, the Gel Saga, GT-2, and Gel Lyte 3 releases, as a whole, did very well for ASICS in the company's efforts to revolutionize the world of sneaker designs and reaching out to newer audiences. With that, still on the horizon, ASICS has now set its sights on the future and starting designing the next new thing, the Gel Lyte 5. The Gel Lyte 5 features a lot of the same technology, design, and materials as the Gel Lyte 3. One of the newest features on the 5 is the inner sock tongue. On the 3, the tongue was split in the front but now on the 5, the tongue is a whole inner sock. Courtesy of Ronnie Fieg, here is your first look. Beauty & Youth x New Balance 1700

New Balance dug DEEP through the crate for this one. NB's next collaboration uses a model that not a lot of people would expect. Teaming up with Beauty & Youth, New Balance took the 1700 model and gave it a unique look. The sneaker features a predominantly navy suede upper with mixes of mesh on the toe box and the tongue. The sneaker also features a tan-like or cream-colored leather that shows out on the top of the tongue, heel counter, and accents. This shoe will be released, in limited quantities, on January 26th and will be shown/showcased at select New Balance retailers.

The Quiet Life Au Natural Pre-Spring Pack

The Quiet Life is preparing to release their pre-spring 2013 pack that features a 5-panel hat and bucket hat. This drop has a very limited amount of both hats in each pack due to the fact that it's considered an "early" release. This will be The Quiet Life's first release of the year. This pack will hit select retailers on January 25th and they will also be available on The Quiet Life's website on the same day at NOON PACIFIC TIME. I repeat for all my fellow east-coasters, NOON PACIFIC TIME.

Sifr "The Shadow Circus" (Spring/Summer 2013 Collection)

John Fussner, Suraj Melwani, and their brand, Sifr are ready to bring out their latest collection for the Spring  and Summertime called "The Shadow Circus". Sifr is a streetwear brand that is based out of Singapore, a city-state right outside of Malaysia. It was once a small sect in multi-brand store called "KIN" but has now branched out. This collection was influenced some of the mountainous regions of Nepal. The clothing in this collection feature different hues of jade and patterns from Himayalan tapestries. Here's an early look at the line.

Teyana Taylor x Adidas Originals Harlem "GLC"

This one is for all the females in the sneaker game. Teyana Taylor, the First Lady of G.O.O.D. Music, has teamed up with Adidas Originals and created her first sneaker for retail. Her shoe features a black and bronze upper with a huge variation between materials used. The upper consists of a black 3-prong rubber piece on top of bronze premium Italian leather.  The most noticeable, and unique part of the shoe, is the rising wrap on the heel. Made of rubber wire wrapped in a black satin, the design resembles a rising crown to help show off her nobility as a rising star in both industries of music and fashion. These are set to release on February 15th at an in-store event at Houston Galleria Mall where Teyana will be hosting it. The Harlem "GLC" will retail for $140 and also be available at select Adidas Original retailers and also on their website, adidas.com/originals | #Adidas #HarlemGLC

New Balance 576 "Tea" Pack

New Balance is never short when it comes to finding inspiration for their creations. This time, they're using tea as the theme to headline their newest pack/collection. NB took the tea "flavors" of peppermint, breakfast, and earl grey to help create the color schemes. Another clever move NB did was using the 576, which is a popular United Kingdom model, for this pack; see what they did there??? A release date and retail price has not yet been set but stay tuned.

Eastpak x Raf Simons (Fall/Winter 2013 Collection)

Eastpak and Raf Simons revealed their latest collaborating works at Paris' Fashion Week. Raf Simons took the backpacks of Eastpak and used materials you rarely, if ever, see on a backpack. Raf Simons took the Daypak and used different silks and polished hardware to give the daypak a feel we've never seen before. This collection is set to hit stores some time in June.

J. Crew x New Balance 998 "Dark Military"

J. Crew and New Balance are back at it again with another collaboration. J. Crew adores using the 998 to unleash it's colorful creations on so this collab' is no different. Similar to the SEAL 999's, this 998 features a brown and tan suede upper and mesh on the toe box. It also contains hits of light blue on the accents. These are retailing for $140 and are available on J. Crew's website.

A.P.C. (Fall/Winter 2013 Men's Collection)

APC was also featured at the menswear portion of Paris' Fashion Week. The fall/winter collection features a lot of subtle designs and color schemes in their ensembles but very stylish nonetheless. They were able take a simplistic look and give it a top tier feel. We are also impressed with what they did for their outerwear portions as well. Here are some photos of the line.
