Air Jordan 5 "Grapes" (Possible Release Info.)

In 2012, so far, we have seen some, pretty good to eye popping, releases from sneaker brands and it's fair to say that 2013 will be no different. One rumored release of 2013 was the Grape 5. The Grape 5 was originally released in 2006 and was rumored to be released as a pack with the Laney 5's for the summer of 2009 but the release never happened. Sources now tell us that since 2013 will be the 23rd anniversary of the Air Jordan 5, the Grape 5 will in fact be releasing. Once more info. surfaces, we'll be sure to put you on.

Nike Lebron 10 "Gold Medal" (RELEASE INFO.)

We have now got some information about the release of the new Lebron X. The first Lebron X to be release is the USA Gold Medals and they will be released on September 29th and will be retailing for $290. Yeah, that's right .......... 290 dollars

La MJC x UNDFTD x Colette x New Balance 1500 "UCLA"

This is going to be one of the more unique collaborations that we've seen in a long time. La MJC is teaming up with Colette, Undefeated Clothing, and New Balance to create a new sneaker. They first used the NB MT580 model for one of them and will be using eccentric colors on a 1500 for the second one. A post of the MT580 is already on this blog and features many different technologies with a red, navy blue, and white finish. This 1500 has a lot of bright colors, a speckled midsole, and even a leopard print insole and accent. They've been dubbed the UCLA's.

Nike Air Foamposite "Stealth"

With the Air Penny line making a firm uproar in the sneaker game, a new foamposite with an unfamiliar look is on the horizon. With a lot of the past foamposite releases, the past themes were either "metallic" or "electro" but now we're seeing something a little different. These stealths offer a clear translucent sole with an all black non-glossy upper. A VERY clean, simple, yet great look. A rumored release date is Black Friday but it has not been confirmed yet. We'll let you guys know once we catch OFFICIAL word.

Nike Lebron 10 "Gold Medal" Official Packaging

One shoe that's been long awaited and highly anticipated is finally here, the Nike Lebron X. After the 2012 Olympic Men's basketball team won gold this summer in the Olympics, Lebron and Nike let the people know that the Lebron 10 was releasing soon. The first colorway that will most likely be released is the "Gold Medal" which offers a red, white, and blue color scheme to commemorate the 2012 Gold Medal win. A foamposite that's been on everybody's radar, the bright crimson Pro, is slowly approaching retailers. A majority of the sneakerheads know about these already so this post is to give you guys a better look, image wise, to help you decide whether they're a cop or not. They are set to release on August 31st and will retail for $220.

Sole Collector x Nike Zoom Rookie LWP "Galaxy"

Nike and Sole Collector have collaborated on the highly anticipated Galaxy version of the Nike Zoom Rookie's. The "Galaxy" color scheme has swept the sneaker game since the famous Galaxy Foamposite release back during NBA All Star Weekend. One of the recent questions regarding this release is whether or not these Rookies will be featuring the glow-in-the-dark pods or regular black pods. Nike will be using the glow-in-the-dark pods and Sole Collectors logo on the tongue. Release info. still pending.

Domo Genesis x No Idols

I originally wasn't a huge fan of Odd Future's music but, as a fan of hip hop, I'm not cool with being close minded to rap artists without giving their music a chance. So I looked into them a bit and found an extreme liking for Domo Genesis. His latest mixtape, No Idols, features some simple collaborations from mostly Earl Sweatshirt, The Alchemist, and Action Bronson but has VERY hot beats and lyrical content like no other. Nike Air Foamposite One "Polarized Pink"

2012 has been a great year, so far, for the Foamposite series. With releases like the Galaxies, Paranormans, and the upcoming Crimson Pros, the Air Penny line is continuing to leave its mark on the sneaker game. This new color scheme is damn sure going to turn a few heads and spark some controversy. Nike is coming out with, not a metallic, but POLARIZED pink version of the Foamposite. There's not too much of a difference between Polarized and Metallic when it comes to these foams but they were still very well done. Release date set for November and will retail for $220.

The upcoming Gold colorway of the KD 4 is one of the best executed in terms of color schemes of the KD's so far this year. These are set to drop on Kevin Durants birthday, September 29th at various Footlocker: House Of Hoops locations.

Gold Medal Kobe VII

So as most of you know this year in London Team USA took home the gold in Men's basketball. Kobe called this his last olympics and he wasn't going to leave with anything less than gold. Just like many other players on Team USA that are sponsored by Nike, Kobe is planning on releasing his own pair of Gold Medal sneakers. They plan to sell at the normal retail price at $140. There isn't any information yet on when and where they will be released but once we catch wind of that information we will make sure to let you guys know.

Air Jordan 6/7 Gold Medal Pack Release Update

I know many of you are probably gearing up for this package to release this Saturday. I just thought I would give out some details on release spots for this package. After my fair share of recon, these following stores are the only ones that have confirmed they will be releasing the package on Saturday. Expressions in Dedham, Expressions in Downtown Crossing, and X-Squared on Newbury Street. Remember This release will require camping no matter where you go to get these so plan accordingly so that you can get your pair.

Nike Air Foamposite "Paranorman"

Since December of 2011, we have seen our fair share, maybe more than hoped for, of over hyped releases with not enough quantities to meet the demand. Concord 11's, Galaxies, etc. the list goes on. Now, we have another blockbuster foamposite on the rise. Nike is dedicating a foamposite to the new upcoming movie Paranorman. Only 800 pairs have been made and you have to enter a contest in order to have a chance to get the pair. With past releases that have had less quantities to meet the demand, we've seen MANY acts of violence as a result. I guess Nike using a contest is to help slow that down. Either that, or to make this release like the Caroline Dunks that came out some time ago.

Kanye West "The Art Of Rap"

Ice T, a legend in the game of Hip Hop, has made and directed a film of his own called "The Art Of Rap". The Art Of Rap is a movie about the making and rise of Hip Hop music and it's affect on the world from the 70's until today. The movie has 50 rap/hip hop artists in it to help tell their part in helping the direction of hip hop stay straight and influential. Here is a clip of Kanye West and a part he has in the movie.

Nike Lebron 10 "Floridians"

For people who didn't already know, the Floridians were the first basketball team of Miami, FL when the NBA was the ABA, before the transition, from 1968 to 1970. Nike used the theme for a recently released low top Lebron 9 and now they're using it for the new, upcoming set of releases, Lebron 10's. A release date has not been announced yet but we'll keep you updated.

LaMJC x UNDFTD x New Balance MT580

LaMJC is teaming up with Undefeated (UNDFTD) and New Balance to help create a new shoe. They chose a training sneaker in the 580 model of NB (New Balance) to work on. The 580 consists of a navy blue and red upper with black accents and a black furry N logo. They also have a white midsole with ROLLBAR technology built in over a predominantly red outsole. Rumor has it that they'll be releasing some time in October.

With Foamposites from the Nike Air Penny line sweeping the shoe game since late 2009, they have established themselves as a very popular sneaker for consumers and sneakerheads. These foamposites have a lot of people skeptical, they are the Nike Air Foamposite One model with a pink silhouette upper and clear translucent sole. Release info. and retail price has not been set yet but we'll keep you updated. I mean, yeah, it's pink, but Breast Cancer Awareness Month is right around the corner.

They are set to release in early 2013, so JB has been working on some sample ideas in terms of new materials to use for them. These are samples so more changes may be taken before the final pair is confirmed.

The Doernbecher Collection has been slowly growing in popularity and has successfully and continuously been putting Jordan Brand on the map. With their crazy design they get from select kids from Doernbecher Hospital and the retail money going to their charity, the Doernbecher Collection has grown to be a JB fan favorite. The next possible rumored Doernbecher is the Retro 5. The sample look is a predominantly elephant print upper and elephant print translucent sole.

Over the past few years, Sneaker brands have been using various themes and popular events to help boost their creativity when it comes to their sneaker designs. One example was using the Chinese Calendar. Nike and Jordan Brand are the most notable brands to use it with examples such as the "Year Of The Rabbit" Retro 7's, the "Year Of The Dragon" Zoom KD 4's, even New Balance with the "Year Of The Dragon" 574 collection.
