Cocaine 80s

Cocaine 80s is a new collection of singers and music performers assembled by none other than G.O.O.D. Music's own, one of their many producers, No I.D. Their group consists of No I.D., Steve Wyreman, Rob Kinelski, Kevin Randolph, James Fauntleroy, Makeeba, and Common. They were recently featured on G.O.O.D. Music's compilation album, Cruel Summer. So far as a collaborative group, they've put out 2 EP's: "The Pursuit" & "Express OG". They sound like a mix of Frank Ocean & The Weeknd. They have a beautiful sound and unique instrumentals to go with it. DEFINITELY worth a listen. Hope to see more from these guys.

Kendrick Lamar x The Art Of Peer Pressure

Lupe Fiasco x Food & Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album (Pt. 1)

Lupe Fiasco is back ya'll, with another album. Lupe is one of the last mainstream "Big League" rappers that are still VERY lyrical and hold content in their songs that help shape our younger generation and not destroy it. Lupe's album's, The Cool and Food & Liquor, with the addition of LASERS back in 2010, have made him a household name. Now, Lupe's back with the sequel of Food & Liquor, Food & Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album. Rumor has it, this is only the first part of a 2 part album series. Cop this album and support GOOD, CONSCIOUS hip hop. Normal & Deluxe versions are available on iTunes.

Ronnie Fieg x New Balance 1300 "Salmon Soles"

Ronnie Fieg is back with another fire collaboration. He's taking a step away from Asics for the time being and has reconnected with his beloved associated brand, New Balance. Fieg is known for his unique color schemes he creates with the casual/lifestyle shoes. This time, it's no different. Ronnie has taken the New Balance 1300 and given in an aquatic feel with a deep navy upper, aqua-marine blue New Balance logo, and a gum/salmon colored sole. He names them, the 'Salmon Soles'. A release date is still being discussed.

Nike Zoom Kobe 8

This year is going to be Nike's next step in basketball shoe technology. Now with the creations of the Zoom KD 5 and Lebron 10, they hope to duplicate the success of their predecessors. The Kobe 8 was the last to be made but was also looking a bit skeptical it terms of style when they were just sketches and samples. We're proud to say that the Kobe 8 has now been completed and is one of the best looking out the 3. The Kobe 8 will continue to have the same sleek low-top look but with a few differences than it's past versions. These will have a nubuck suede upper and perforated detailing. These will not have a release date until some time next year.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist signs to Jordan Brand

Usually these huge athletic brands/companies would sign various athletes from different leagues as endorsers for their brand of athletic wear & technology to help advertise and promote their products. When they sign these athletes, they're usually at the top of their performance skills (in the prime of their athletic careers). Jordan Brand is no stranger to this method; Although in 2003, they took a bit of a risk. They signed, now humungous NBA all-star, Carmelo Anthony, when he was only starting off in College. Lucky for them, he's been playing great ever since then. JB is now taking the same risk in signing MKG. He's had a great college career at Kentucky so they're confident he'll do the same when playing for the Charlotte Bobcats. Congratulations young man, we wish you the best in your NBA career.

Nike Lebron 10 "Galaxy"

With the release of the first Lebron 10 right around the corner, Nike has been loading it's arsenal with various and very lucrative color schemes. The "Galaxy" color scheme has been extremely popular since the foamposite release some time ago, only the "South Beach" colorway has rivaled it. Nike has now made a Lebron 10 with the Galaxy color scheme. The only problem is, it's just a sample and we do not know if they will ever see the shelves.

Air Jordan 4 "Thunder" (Release Info.)

About a week ago, some very surprising news about a Thunder 4 release soon caused waves in the sneaker game. At first, we thought it was just rumors but now we have confirmation that the Thunder 4's WILL be releasing this Fall. Along with the Bred 4's, these will be dropping about a week before them, (on November 17th). Besides JB making all these color schemes for the retro 9's, the back to back HEAT retro 4 releases will be just what the game needs before the highly anticipated Bred 11 release the month following.

Air Jordan 6 "Maroon"

The Maroon 6's are one of JB's most prized possessions. They originally released in 1991 and retailed for $125 (yeah ..... that's about 21 years ago) and ever since then, they've never seen the light of day again. For the last couple years, us, sneakerheads, have been hearing rumors that JB will be retroing them soon. Those rumors have now been confirmed, the Maroon 6's WILL be releasing in 2013.

Ewing 33 Hi (Additional Release)

The Ewing 33's were one of the most unsung releases of the year. These joints are the epitome of retro or "old school". Patrick Ewing's signature shoe from Ewing Athletics made it's mini-debut in limited quantities in back in New York about a month ago and was an instant hit. Ewing Athletics has now decided to give the 33 Hi's a nationwide release that will be dropped on September 29th.

UNDFTD X Colette x La MJC x New Balance MT580

This 4 way collaboration has been floating around the sneaker game for about a month now as we patiently wait for more release information. After a long wait, release info. has finally been brought to us, but may be a little disappointing to some readers/bloggers. These New Balance MT580's will drop on October 13th, 2012 ....... but in EUROPEAN accounts. A decision to release them here in the United States is still being discussed. Never say never, you never know what the future will hold.

One are these, featuring an emerald green and blue upper with a white swoosh. These are set to release on October 6th and retail for $290.

Nike Air Force 180 "Gunmetal"

Lately, the Nike Air Force 180 has been making waves in the sneaker game. A lot of late 80's and 1990's shoes are being retroed which is giving a lot of well-needed revival to the game and the 180's have played a major part in that. The next 180 we should see is this one, featuring a charcoal grey/black upper with a 2-toned midsole, white swoosh, and Nike Air technology. A release on these has not been set yet and we will keep you guys up to date once Nike gives the people the word.

Big Sean x Detroit

In album quality, Detroit has a really good mixed feel of lyricism and mainstream. With interludes from prominent rappers about their first Detroit, Michigan experiences and features such as Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Jhene Aiko, and Royce Da 5'9, the tape is very out-of-the-ordinary. Download link below.
