Usually these huge athletic brands/companies would sign various athletes from different leagues as endorsers for their brand of athletic wear & technology to help advertise and promote their products. When they sign these athletes, they're usually at the top of their performance skills (in the prime of their athletic careers). Jordan Brand is no stranger to this method; Although in 2003, they took a bit of a risk. They signed, now humungous NBA all-star, Carmelo Anthony, when he was only starting off in College. Lucky for them, he's been playing great ever since then. JB is now taking the same risk in signing MKG. He's had a great college career at Kentucky so they're confident he'll do the same when playing for the Charlotte Bobcats. Congratulations young man, we wish you the best in your NBA career.
