Air Jordan 9 "Doernbecher"

The Doernbecher Freestyle Series is a very well known, profitable, and respected campaign that Nike has created. It was created in 2004 by Nike's Creative Director of Global Brand Presentations. He created the Series as a way to help raise money for Hospitals in America for kids battling with cancer. A child of any hospital is chosen to work on a specific type of Model Brand represented by Nike. Jordan Brand is well know for it's previous Doernbecher releases such as the 2, 3, 6, and 4. There were rumors of a Jordan 5 being used this year but the rumors are now silenced with the official Doernbecher being confirmed. a 9 will be used for it this year. Oswaldo Jimenez has created this Doernbecher using the Jordan 9 and giving it a golden makeover. The features a white upper with golden feather accents on the midsole and a translucent outsole. These will be released November 30th.

Nike Air Foamposite "White Camo"

Nike's 2012 decisions to raise the price on the Air Foamposite was pretty unfavorable by the public but still managed to perform well in sales nonetheless. As the year reaches its end, Nike only has 2 more Foam releases left: The Stealth Foamposites & the Polarized Pink. But over the past few days, a new unknown foamposite color scheme has arrived. It's features a camouflage patterned  upper. We don't know if it's a custom or not, but they're still pretty hot regardless.

New Balance 990 "NYC Marathon"

As a current sales associate for New Balance, I can tell you now that this global company really loves their model 990. The 990 was the company's first revolutionized running shoe of the 90's. It was retroed in 2011 as an upgraded version of the 993 and the 991. New York City, just like Boston, has an annual marathon (which just so happens to be very soon). So, New Balance made a 990 model dedicated to the nationwide event. The shoe features a red, grey, and gold color scheme with various NYC related accents.

As you may have heard, 2013, at least on paper, is probably going to be one of Jordan Brand's best production years in a very long time. A classic retro, the Bred 13, is slated to release in March of 2013. Here are some early photos of them. If you don't know, now ya knowwwwwww N%$*#@.

A 3rd Yeezy 2 colorway?!?

The Air Yeezy 2 caused pandemonium nationwide with it's historic sequel to Kanye West's first signature shoe, The Air Yeezy. Since then, the retail value has quadrupled in price and you'd have to pay a pretty penny to get your hands on a real pair now. Gentry Humphrey, a designer for Nike & Jordan Brand, helped Kanye finalize his Yeezy 2 creation and Humphrey, via. twitter, has given us confirmation of a 3rd colorway to be made and released soon. It will be a black, white, and red color scheme; the main question for them is to either make the red a Jordan-like BRED red or an Infrared color. Regardless of the shade of red, this release will be epic. We'll be sure to let you guys know more once a release date surfaces.

From seeing various forms and even a lifestyle look of Kobe's next line of his signature shoe, it looks like Nike has finally finished and made the official form of the Kobe 8. From the first samples, all I said was that they need to choose the material on the upper more carefully and drop the midsole point a little .... looks like they heard me out.

Kendrick Lamar x Good Kid, m.A.A.d City

The wait is finally over!!!!!! Kendrick Lamar's SECOND, yes, SECOND album, Good Kid m.A.A.d City has finally released. With Kendrick's previous EP's, his tape Overly Dedicated, and his first album, Section 80, Kendrick is establishing himself as a Titan in the rap game. Ronnie Fieg x ASICS Gel Lyte 3 "Eclipse" [RELEASE INFO.]

With a post that was thrown up on here not too long ago, we now know that Ronnie Fieg is back to work with ASICS with a new classic collaboration. The "Eclipse" Gel Lyte 3 features a BRED colorway with a predominantly leather upper. Shoe is the epitome of SMOOTH. We know have information that they will be releasing this November. So ....... MARK 'DEM CALENDARS!!!

New Balance 1300 "Grapes"

We all know how famous the "Grape" Jordan 5 is and since it's first release, we've only seen the Grape colorway on customs and not the real deal (in terms of any shoe from any company). We are glad to inform you guys that that has now changed. New Balance will be taking a pair of 1300's and give them a Grape flavored makeover. It's not necessarily that Jordan 5 Grape feel, but an abundance of purple swag in the mix nonetheless. Expect these to release within the next Fall month or so.

New Balance 574 "Year Of The Snake"

From an earlier post on this blog, we mentioned that New Balance will be honoring the Chinese Calendar of 2013 by making a Year Of The Snake sneaker using their widely popular 574 model. A month has finally been decided, be on the lookout for these this upcoming December.

With New Balance going H.A.M. this year with their lifestyle collections, NB is back with another hot colorway. They've taken their 998 model and gave it a forestry feel. Forest green and silver wrap around the entire upper with it's usual ABZORB cushioning in the midsole. Be on the lookout for these to drop some time this late fall or early winter.

Macklemore is a Seattle-based underground rapper turned hip hop sensation. With his recent induction into the XXL 2012 Freshmen class and recent world tour, Macklemore has been blowin' up in terms of popularity and recognition. Formally a victim of drug abuse, Macklemore used his love for music to break his addiction and once he teamed up with DJ Ryan Lewis, it's been history. The Heist is Macklemore's second album and first collaborative album with Ryan Lewis. Ronnie Fieg x New Balance 1300 "Salmon Soles" (RELEASE UPDATE.)

The long wait for the Salmon Soles is now over. The Salmon Soles will be releasing this friday, October 12th, at 11am and will be retailing for $150. They will also be a jacket accompanying this release for $250 dollars but I believe those are only available for people who are buying in-store. The release will be over in about 1- 2 (online, from personal experience) so be prepared. Best of luck to those trying to get these limited Salmons.

Ronnie Fieg has been making waves in the sneaker game with his collaborations, and from the looks of it, he's only just begun. Now that his store, KITH NYC, is off the ground and doing well, the sky's the limit for him. He has an upcoming New Balance collaboration that's set to drop soon and since then, he's been back with ASICS for another collabo'. This Asics collab' is another Gel Lyte 3 with mesh and suede compartments, but, this time, contains an all black leather toe box. Pretty dope.

With the news of the Lebron X's sweeping the sneaker world, Nike is looking to take over this year with this line as it's driving force. With the Crown Jewel's and Gold Medal Lebron X's already released, Nike is cookin' up some more color schemes for the people. The newest to arise is a black/red colorway that hasn't been decided to release. It doesn't have the "+" technology in it so maybe it won't hurt so much on the peoples wallets.
